ISO 14001: 2015

Monitoring the environmental aspects and other effects of our business activities is important to Brickyard. Our products and services have an impact on the environment and we use our environmental management system to limit that impact as much as possible. We do this, for example, by limiting our traffic movements where possible by solving disruptions remotely and communicating with our relations via video conference where possible instead of on location. In addition, we replace our fleet with electric and hybrid vehicles and select the hardware we supply for recyclability after the end of its technical and economic lifespan. By applying our advanced software and hardware and working from the Cloud, it is possible to optimally implement the trend towards flexible workplaces. The use and management of our systems is possible with the correct accreditation, from any location (home, office and on the street).

Our environmental policy is tested annually and certified in accordance with ISO 14001:2015. In this way we explain how Waysis deals with the 'carbon footprint' that our business processes create and how we try to reduce it.

ISO 9001:2015

The quality of the business processes (and therefore the products and services) can only be maintained within an organization if there is thorough assurance. For this purpose, Waysis first compiled a quality manual in 2004, which was based on years of experience and the business processes used since 1927. In the following years, this quality manual was further developed into a structure that should ensure full compliance with ISO 9001.

Waysis's certified quality assurance is currently monitored by regular internal audits and from 2023 by an annual audit by DNV (formerly BSI), an independent organization accredited for this purpose that provides external audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.

During the last audit, Waysis, and thus Brickyard, once again received a positive assessment in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.

VCA** certification

The safety of employees but also of citizens on the street during work, the health aspects (ARBO) directly related to this and environmental matters that must be closely monitored are an important part of business operations. Waysis is therefore VCA** 2008/5.1 certified as an organization (VCA* for companies that do not participate in a project as a main contractor).

We expect our employees (technicians and project leaders) to obtain their individual VCA certification through personal training. This assurance of safety measures is currently also required of subcontractors who carry out parts of the work on behalf of the Waysis companies.

ISAE 3402 reporting

Waysis takes care of various processes, such as the processing of parking transactions and receipt data for violations. We have the ISAE 3402 type II reporting, the international standard for (control of) outsourcing processes. We thereby comply with the contractual obligations required to take over the (financial) services for various municipalities, for example in the field of parking enforcement.

ISO 27001

The security of business information (and therefore systems and data) within an organization can only be guaranteed through solid control measures. For this purpose, the Waysis group (Taxameter Centrale, Brickyard and XPark) has established an information security management system, based on our business processes and years of experience. To fully comply with the requirements of ISO 27001:2013, we have implemented the management system for information security across the organization. We monitor our information security through 'random' internal audits and annual audits by DNV, an accredited external organization that carries out the audits. During the last audit, Waysis received a positive assessment, this time in accordance with ISO 27001:2013.
