Smart enforcement of Zero-Emission zones in municipalities – Brickyard supports the transition

Since January 1, 2025, multiple Dutch municipalities have officially implemented zero-emission zones. In these areas, only emission-free delivery vans and trucks are allowed to enter. The goal? Cleaner air, a healthier living environment for residents, and reduced CO2 emissions in urban areas.
More municipalities adopting zero-emission zones
Municipalities are increasingly aligning with national ambitions to make city centers more sustainable and future-proof. At Brickyard, we collaborate with cities such as Maastricht, Gouda, and Tilburg to implement and enforce these zero-emission zones. We achieve this by deploying smart technology, including advanced software solutions, scanning vehicles, and fixed cameras. Soon, Amersfoort, Nijmegen, and Groningen will also join this initiative.
Our technology enables quick and accurate vehicle verification, ensuring that enforcement remains efficient, reliable, and user-friendly for municipalities.
